Hi

I have just found out that the mar. of Anthony FARRAR (of Stebbing Ess) to
Martha SORRELL on 20 May 1690, which I had picked up as in Stebbing, was
actually by
licence in Gt Thurlow. This would seem to indicate that Martha probably came
from
Gt Thurlow.

Do any of the SORRELL researchers have this lady in their data?

Is anyone going to the Suffolk RO who could see if there is a record of the
licence & any
indication of Martha's parentage; or if there are transcripts - a baptism
for Martha?

I have quite a bit on the descendants of this marriage if anyone is
interested.
