Well, the instructions said post an intro so, here it is !
I am a 'newbie' at genealogy having played about with it
for a few years picking up odd snippets.

My family is Suffolk based with a bit of Hertfordshire thrown
in. The predominant area is around Hadleigh.
Thus far I'm only back to my ggparents who were:

Martha (nee Smith) & Alfred James MANNING
Martha was born ?? 10 - 1883 (?)
& died ?? 3 - 1948
They lived at Semer & had 4 children including my grandmother.
Also:
Annie & John BARNES who had 6 children
& lived in Barton Street Hadleigh

On my paternal side the ggp are
William Thomas BAALHAM (1st wife u/kn)
they had 4 children including Agnes & Louise
and
Charlotte (nee Grimsey?) & George MARTIN
b.c. 1860 & 1857

My apologies if this is not the sort of thing I should be
posting here. Please put it down to newbie enthusiasm.
If anyone thinks they may have any connection to my family
(or any info) I would love to hear from you !
