Hi All,

We have returned to the lists again after a short absence and I
(Barbara) was wondering if someone would be able to help me? I have a
GRO number for a death of John CATCHPOLE but it has twice been refused
and the GRO staff have said that the index entry cannot be correct the
number I gave was correct but the entry is not.

I wonder if someone who lives in the vicinity of the Stow registration
district would be kind enough to email me for more details and then pop
into the office to ask them if there is a solution to my problem, or if
there is a email address that I could write to them.

Meanwhile to refresh you on my interests:

CATCHPOLE: Mainly from Hessett Richard Pre 1815, Elijah went to Ely,
Cambridge by 1881 married Mary MANN from Bradfield St Giles.

COCKSEDGE: Sophia Married Richard c1813 she came from Bradfield St
Clare.

If anyone is researching these names and could be of some help or I can
