Could SKP help me find my g/grandfather. Henry Haylette Griffiths born in Aldeburgh August 1848 (his Father and Mother ran the Cross Keys Inn in the 1800-1906. Henry was a shipwright by trade. Where there many Navy Shipyards or boatbuilders in the area?. Has anyone written a history about them? Did they all close suddenly. Henry seemed to disappear about 1896 (he was a widower perhaps he remarried a local girl) when his brother John Winslow Griffiths took over the pub. from his Grandmother.
