Hi Deirdre, Thanks for your e-mail. Yes, this is the right Henry Haylette
Griffiths. You will have noticed he was unemployed although he was a
shipwright. Perhaps they had recessions in the late 1800. What I hope will
happen is that somone might know what happened to the boatyard where he
worked betweem 1881 and 1891. I have been unable to find a death
certificate for him in Aldeburgh, which suggests he had moved on when his
brother John Winslow Griffiths
left the navy to help his Mother in the pub "Cross Keys" Inn; but where?
