Greetings to the Suffolk List from just below the Canadian border, in far
Western New York State, USA.

Happy New Year! Happy New Decade! Happy New Century! Happy New Millennium!

Wow quite a few historical markers that cause many of us to reflect on the
past and the ancestors who played such an important role in shaping that
history and who have brought each of us to this point in time.

We are burdened, in ways, by that past and by our own past. But we are also
amazingly positioned for a remarkable future by those who shaped past
events and by our own experiences and the knowledge we freely take
from that history.

So as the sun rises on a hopeful future ... I choose to look back a bit to the
foot prints left behind in the sand ... and then turn to face the warm glow
of a beautiful rising sun.

May the future be bright, rich in constructive contributions, happy and
healthy
for you and yours.

Our greatest songs are still unsung!
