I am trying to find information about ancestors, decendants and siblings of
my great grandfather:

James DALE b Brantham (or Tattingstone) Suffolk in 1833

He married first a Jane COX B Buckland, Surrey ca 1831

I have found two children,
David DALE, b 27 June 1856,
and Charles DALE, b 14 March 1858,
both boys were christened at St Martins in the Fields, Westminster, in
Kensington on 19 September 1858.

James DALE's parents were
John DALE and Hannah BULLOCH : I have no details about them.

Family lore has it that James DALE was a coachman to a Lord Major of London
- James certainly had a variety of positions as a coachman. On Jane COX's
death he married his second wife, Isabella EDWARDS, from Aberdeenshire.
James subsequently moved north to Scotland, and on his death certificate is
recorded as a crofter at Hillend of Dumbreck, Udny, Aberdeenshire.

I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has information about the DALE
family in Suffolk.
