I would appreciate receiving any references to the Appleton/Appulton family
in Suffolk in the late 1400's. This could be in Lavneheam, Pakenham,
Little Waldingfield or Boxford, to mention only a few possibilities!
I am trying to find the ancestry of Alice Appleton, who married Thomas
Spring of Lavenham and who died in 1538. She was reportedly the daughter
of Thomas Appleton of Little Waldingfield, but she is not mentioned in his
Will. She was also reported to be the widow of (first name unknown) May,
but this has not helped either!
I realise that this is not too specific, but I would appreciate any early
references to the Appleton/Appulton family.
