Hello listers

I have joined this list on behalf of my father, (he does not own a
computer). I am tracing my family tree on my father's side and was
discussing his army friends with him. He asked if it would be possible to
put out a request to see if he could locate two of them.

They were together in the Royal Signals in Feb 1949 and were stationed
together in the Middle East.

They both lived in Ipswich and used to travel from Catterick army base to
London on the back of an open lorry. I know information is scarce but it's
all my dad could remember.

The names of his friends were Johnny JAY and George ???????. My fathers name
is Henry BAKER.

I know the chances of finding them maybe remote, but there is always a
possibility.

Any information on them would be greatfully received.
