Hi List

I have now two new surnames and hopefully will have more if my
certificates ever arrive.

I have the maiden name of Jonathon BOTWRIGHT of Laxfield - his wife
was Mary FRASER (although this is unproven - I have no evidence yet of
an actual marriage) and although I do not know where she came from, I
know that she and Jonathon had at least 4 children (seems very few so
there are bound to be more) including Harriet with whom my interest
lies. Mary was born around 1796, although this date is calculated
from the 1841 census so may be out........(hope to get back to the FRC
soon to look at the 1851 census).

Lydia BACKHOUSE, born about 1789 in Carlton, Suffolk, married (I hope)
William FAIRWEATHER of Dennington. I have found her so far on the
1841 and 1851 census.

I do have the 1881 census on disc, but so far haven't looked for
either of these, and although I suppose I shouldn't rule out finding
them there, I will be amazed if I do!

If anyone has an interest in either of these two chicks, then I'd
really like to hear from them.
