Hello Everyone,

I've just rejoined the list after a break to concentrate on my Scottish
branches so I thought I'd post my Suffolk interests.

I am researching my RICHES ancestry which seems mainly to have come from
Fressingfield and surrounding villages.

I am descended from Benjamin RICHES and Lydia RUMSBY through their daughter
Harriett.

I think that Benjamin was the son of James RICHES and his wife Mary and born
around 1828 in Fressingfield.

James was the son of John RICHES and Elizabeth FEVERYEAR and was born around
1787, also in Fressingfield.

I have some information on the lines of John's other children but this is in
no way complete and I would love to find out more and also to go further
back to John's own parents and siblings.

I have some infromation about other RICHES families from Fressingfield which
I'm sure are related - somehow - to my own.

If anyone can link to this family or to Fressingfield itself I would love to
share information with them. I would be grateful for any help anyone can
offer and happy to share my own information or help in whatever way it might
be useful.
