Hi Gwyn - went through the pr fiche and have listed those Cracknells that I
have found and am trying to get a booking for the 81 census fiche which I
ordered and are at our LDS church - hopefully should be able to contact them
tomorrow.

There is only one mention of your Shadrack and wife:
Baptised privately Mar 12, 1895: Frederick Albert son of Shadrack and Hannah
Rebecca Cracknell, abode: Thorndon, trade: carpenter. The film of the
register stops at 1898 and there are no other christenings shown - nor could
I find a marriage or banns for Shadrack and Hannah.

I then went through the fiche to see if I could find Shadrack baptism -
nothing I'm afraid.

Here are the other CRACKNELLS that were listed - may tie in somewhere for
you.

Marriage banns for Tyer (?) CRACKNALL bachelor of Bedingfield and Mary Ann
LEGGETT, spinster of this parish, banns 3,12, and 19 Oct 1872.

Marriage Banns for Walter Godfrey CRACKNELL, bachelor, of Stock Ash and Mary
Ann Lock of this parish, were married 8 Aug 1895.

Marriage banns: Robert CRACKNELL ,widower of this parish and Eliza TODD,
widow of Occold, banns 29 May, 5 Jun and 13 June 1892

(I haven't gone through the burials - looks as tho there is probably one for
