Dear Listers,

I've been lurking on this list for a few weeks, and would now like to post my
name interests to see if anyone shares them.

My family spent the 19th century in Soham, Cambridgeshire, but evidence has
emerged that they moved there from the Suffolk side of the Border, around
Mildenhall (including Mildenhall, St May with Red Lodge) and Eriswell and
perhaps beyond.

Spelling of the surname is very variable, and I wouldn't rule out a
connection just because it doesn't match one of the above. I'll be glad to
hear from anyone. Oh, and yes, I have been in contact with Pam Cooper and
her web page in Australia.
