I have a Great Uncle who was killed in the First World War on the 19th
August 1915 and was buried the following day in Plot 268 of the Capuccini
Naval Cemetery, near Valetta, Malta. He was Private Ernest Robert Keeler
(2482) 1/5th Battalion of the Suffolk Regiment. I understand that at the
time of his demise the Regiment was involved in actions in Gallipoli. Does
anyone have access to a book called 'The Suffolk Regiment' which I
understand details the events leading up to his death. I would be interested
to know what events the 1/5th Battalion of the Suffolk Regiment was involved
in at the beginning of August 1915. Any detail received will be incorporated
into a Family History that I am trying to put together.

Many thanks

Nick Keeler
