Adrian expanded his original reply off-list so I am including it here for
clarification. Following are my notes regarding his content in hopes that
they may open some new doors. (I hope that this format is not too
laborious.)

Suzanne has kindly asked me to expand on the Scase & Kindred link.
I do not know if the gravestones still exist, but here is the information.
Burial north side of Framlingham Churchyard:
Sarah Scase, wife of John Scase of Brundish, and daughter of Edmund Kindred,
of this parish, died 27th November aged 27 years.
Burial east side of Framlingham Churchyard:
Mary Kindred, wife of Edmund Kindred, died 6th September 1801, aged 46 years
Eliza Kindred, daughter of Edmund & Lucy, died 14th June 1829, aged 17
years, and Lucy Kindred, died 18th January 1829, aged 7 months.
sic: I assume that Lucy was the illegitimate daughter of Eliza; this can be
verified.
I am sure that the Scase family were living around the Dennington &
Framlingham area in the late 1950's. There are about 12 listings of Scase in
the local telephone directory.

Adrian

My notes:
Thank you, Adrian for expanding on the information that you provided.
It saves me asking a million questions about whos who etc.
I have information on the KINDREDs mentioned in Adrians e-mail and would be
happy to share.
The bare bones are as follows:
Although I was unaware of the SCASE connection (which has been rectified)
Sarah, daughter of Edmund KINDRED was baptised in Framlingham on June 9,
1818. I do not have Sarahs marriage information, so if some kindred spirit
(SKS) on the SCASE side has this, I would be grateful. Sarahs mother was
Hannah NEWSON (my half 4th great aunt).
Mary KINDRED wife of Edmund was Mary PARKER, the aforementioned Edmunds
first wife. I have a transcript of the inscription on her grave marker if
anyone is interested. This inscription is so weathered as to be now
illegible. The inscription is from a book entitled The History, Topography
and Antiquities of Framlingham and Saxstead by R. Green (published 1834).
Please dont ask for lookups I found this volume at the SRO in Ipswich.
Eliza KINDRED, daughter of Edmund and Lucy (nee WRIGHT) is not, in fact
illegitimate, but the daughter of a different Edmund from above. This is
Edmund Henry KINDRED, son of the previously mentioned Edmund and Mary (nee
PARKER). I have Elizas death as January 14, 1829 rather than June 14.
Perhaps someone with an interest in these names can confirm this.
Lucy is Lucy Agnes KINDRED who is a sister to Eliza.
Both Eliza and Lucy share a common grave marker and again I have a
transcription of the inscription.
If anyone has any interest in Mary, Eliza or Lucy, I also have recent photos
(2000) of their grave markers at St Michaels Burial Ground in Fram. Sot to
answer the open question in Adrians note, the gravestones for Mary, Eliza
and Lucy do exist. (I cannot vouch for Sarahs.)
I would be very interested in hearing from any SCASE regarding their
connection to Sarah.
Regards,
David C Kindred
