Hello Trevor,

Thank you for the fascinating information on Obediah.

It's a bit sad, as I had rather hoped his descendants were living in a large
bungalow with a pool not far from Bondi Beach.

It rather looks as if he had a tough life in Oz. None of his children seem
to have reached maturity. I am surprised at the level of infant mortality,
as we tend to assume that most emmigrants better there position in life.

But then I expect life must have been very hard for many.
