Subject: Thanks for the translations of the Suffolk Manorial abbreviations

It was very kind of all of you to share your expertise with me. As a foreign
language teacher (I teach French) I have to chuckle at some of the
differences between British and American English. I was in London last week
and had to ask for a translation several times. Then, throw on some
abbreviations, standing in for Latin expressions, and I'm just rolling on the
floor with glee!
