You could hold your horses for 5 months, and then take a swift glance at the 1901 Census!
Have you traced all her daughters, she may having been living with one of them, and the surname was incorrectly spelt! Did any of the family emigrate? She may have spent time with a relative, and then returned home!
If you are sure that she was always known as Jemima, and that she was born around 1828, try this:
In the 1881 census, load the given name of Jemima with a DOB of 1828 (+ or- 5 years, and see what turns up.
If you know her place of birth, you could do a search on that in the census.
