I've managed to get my mum interested after 14 years or so and she even
turned up for a family reunion we had last year. Next time her whole family
is going... or so she says hehe
When I told my brother that millions were trying to get to the site he said
it was just a single PRO person continuously refreshing the site to keep the
figures up.. disbeliever...

Well what did they expect. Having got on on !st Jan!!!!!, but crashed, I
spent a lot of 2nd Jan trying and got as far as typing a name in, I was
cursing every news that told me of this wonder.
One of my sons even came running downstairs at Noon!! to tell me that the
census was now available. Bless him - He has spent years trying hard to
live
up to being a SAG (Society against Genealogy) member - (btw this Society was
started by my husband and who enrolled my sons at birth. Hubby has numbered
many Felixstowe Family History Society Committee Member's Spouses amongst
his
members!!!) but I think I am winning at least one son over
Margaret Lake
