Thomas Wade wasn't buried in Brockley as there are no Wade burials between
1780 and 1830. If you'd like me to check anything else on the Brockley
registers, let me know with a few names and I'll endeavour to have another
look next weekend as am busy this week. Thomas may have been living there
but perhaps he was buried wherever his children lived.

Dear Listers,

I have just found the Will of Thomas WADE, of Brockley, a farmer (quite
elderly as he had adult grandchildren when the Will was made in 1805), who
appears to have died in about 1807. In the Will he mentions a farm that
seems
to read like 'Menough Green Farm'. Have I read this correctly, and does
anybody else relate to Thomas WADE?

Yours, etc.

Geoffrey in Cambridgeshire.
