Some of you may have seen this before, if so ignore it <G>. It has been
posted on the Guild of One Name Studies, SoG and 1901 lists.

With apologises to those who may get it more than once you may be interested
in the following. Jeanne Bunting and I recently stumbled on a couple of
what appeared to be sillies. Sarah and Hannah as a Male and John as a
Female.

I therefore decided to check all of the English counties for these and I
doubt that they are the only ones. Some of the figures are rather alarming.
So if you have lost someone and specified the sex try swapping it around.
If on the other hand anyone can lay claim to a genuine John as a female or
Sarah and Hannah as males please let myself or Jeanne know.

Have you tried looking for Frederick as a female?

I have a William Scales unlisted in Suffolk, but when searching for female
Scales in Suffolk he appears at the bottom of the list!!

Or perhaps there are some skeletons in my family's closet yet to appear :-)

Hi All,
I have been trying to find Frederick GIRLING born 1859 Henham and William
GIRLING born1882 Lowestoft on the 1901 census.
I know they were in Lowestoft area in 1901 (possibly Kessingland) but do not
seem able to find the correct keyword to get Lowestoft. Have tried Suffolk,
Suffolk East, and East Suffolk with out success.
Any suggestions??
Charlie
