There has been a discussion about these numbers on other lists and no-one
seems to have come up with a satisfactory explanation. I think you idea of
wages is a good one but I am not sure it is the right one.
As for Drabbett I think I saw it on another list that it is a length of
wool-type cloth although I always thought that that was a Druggett. I have
a long list of Ancient Occupations which I downloaded a time ago and it is
not mentionel there.
