Hi

I wonder if someone can give me some advice as to finding out where a family might have emmigrated to

I am trying to locate William (184?-?) and Emma (1847-?) MUMFORD nee BISHOP

I have checked the 1901 for the MUMFORDS, tried every thing I could think of, none of them turned up, Emma's father, Richard (1808-1885) who lived with them died in 1885, so I don't think they went anywhere before then, By 1901 the eldest child Alfred would have been 31 and the youngest known child John would have been 21, so all children would be old enough to be listed on their own with their own families, the fact that none of them are there leads me to believe that they definately went somewhere when all the children were still young enough to be living at home.

Anything anyone can think of to help me along would be appreciated
