Patrick
I have a William JOLLY who married Martha JENNINGS in 1803 at Wickham
Market. William was born c.1776, place unknown. His marriage record gave
his father as James JOLLY but no further details.
It has been suggested that my William may be William Jolly born 4 Feb
1775 in Laxfield to James JOLLY and Margaret Tricker/Trickel but I have
not been able to prove this. I am planning to borrow the Laxfield film
shortly as I am also interested in DOWSING of Laxfield in the 1600s.
Does this tie in with your JOLLY?
Thanks
Jenny

Hello
I have a Margaret Keable in my tree who married James Jolley on April
30th
1792 at Cratfield. It was his 2nd marriage. and I am aware of 2
children from
that marriage, John and Richard. Presumably she died before 1816
because he
re-married at Laxfield on May 26th.
I have been trying to find out where james came from.
Thanks
Patrick
