Hello Pam,

I'm not researching BYFORD's, but there is a connection to my the PEDDAR
family of Suffolk.

I have an Ellen Sophia CADY who married Charles Watson Byford and their
marriage is listed on FreeBMD in the Resibridge Registration District, Sep
Qtr of 1884

Ellen was born about 1859 in Melford, Suffolk and was the daughter of
Frederick CADY and Ellen Elizabeth PEDDAR. She & C.W. 4 had sons and 1
daughter. I've found them on the 1901 Census Index with their sons all born
in Clare.
William BYFORD b. abt 1889
Cady BYFORD b. abt 1891
Charles BYFORD b. abt 1893
Donald BYFORD b. abt 1898

Cady apparently married Dora Ann Jones at the Northgate Wesleyan Church,
Gloucester on 02 Oct 1915 and they were living at "The Cliftons, Clare at
the time of their Golden Wedding anniversary. [Times Newspaper 02 Oct
1965].
