Hi All,
I am hoping SKS can help me with a frustrating brick wall.

I am trying to find the marriage or any evidence of the union of Mary Ann PEARL b.18/10/1829 to Frederick WILKIN b.abt. 1828.

I think I have located Mary Ann in the 1891 census as a visitor in Newmarket, St Marys. Ref RG12/1294, Folio 13 page 19. And Frederick in the 1891 census is listed as a pauper, at Walter Thomas Comber, in the same parish.

I also have a WILKIN family in the 1871 census in Bethnal Green, were the Husband and Wife are called Frederick and Mary Ann, but the children don't match.

My questions are how do I find a marriage, or evidence of them cohabiting? Is there a pauper index to find out if Mary Ann was a pauper too.

My records show they had 3 children which had the surname PEARL, one of which is my direct descendant, Samuel PEARL b.2/5/1852 d.23/1/1886.

So HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
