I've been on the list before but it is time to re-post interests I think.
My ancestor George Cooper from Rendham, married Emma Charlotte Harsant in
1852. George was the son of George Cooper (born about 1793) of Peasenhall
and Mary Lambert of Swefling. Emma was the daughter of William Harsant and
Charlotte Jackson..
William Harsant was the son of William Harsant and Sarah Mason and the elder
William was the son of John Harsant and Lydia Freeman.
Charlotte Jackson seems to be the daughter of Richard Jackson and Elizabeth
Hanby. I suppose Hanby could be Hamby -- record was from the IGI so not
fully confirmed. All names are from Suffolk. In going through list
archives I saw some posts from Phil Cooper of Jakarta, Indonesia and Phil
has been helpful with my Cooper ancestry in the past. I'm assuming
genealogy is not at the forefront of his thoughts these days but do hope
that he and his family are ok.
