Further to my previous email I should point out that we do have all the
Lancashire based information on the family but were curious as to why Robert
would leave his many family members in Lancashire and take his family to
Kirkley.

A friend has asked me to help him unravel his family line.

The family name is Ditchfield and they moved from the Preston area sometime
between 1891 and 1901 when we find Robert as a Steam Laundry Proprietor in
Kirkley. In 1891 he had been a Chemists Assistant in Preston.

Any help would be appreciated.
