Although I don't know when the program will re-air on The History Channel (I have e-mailed them with the question), it is available on video from THC through A & E Entertainment (www.aande.com). Simply click on "Shop A & E" in the dark blue menu bar near the top of the page. When the next page comes up, click in the "Search" box on the left side of the page and type in "The Mighty Mississippi" (without the quote marks). It will take you to a page with information about the program and the opportunity to add it to a shopping cart. It's even on sale right now! You will have to use a credit card to order this way. Otherwise, you can probably send them a check. Depending on the size city you live in, your local video store may have the program in stock or they may be able to order it for you. Yes, it is an excellent program with a brief blurb about the Sultana. Actually, I prefer two other programs from The History Channel. One is called "In Search of History: Sultana-!
The Mississippi's Titanic". The other is "Fire at Sea". The first program is a very well done documentary about the ship and its fate. The second has a short section dealing with the disaster. And no, I don't work for The History Channel or A & E Entertainment. Thanks to all who continue to do what they can to bring this worthy subject to the attention of those in our country and around the world. Sincerely, Mike Marshall, .
