My ancestor, Sarah Lillis (alias Margaret Scanlon) was convicted in
Limerick in 1840 and transported to Hobart, Australia on the Mexborough
the next year. Married Frederick Wilson (soldier) and bore 12
children.Also lived at Garvoc and Hamilton, Victoria, Australia.

Father: John Lillis, cordwainer
Mother: Alice Scanlon

Contact with anyone with any knowledge of her parents would be greatly
appreciated.
