KEANE's, etc .of Co. Waterford can be either descendants of the O'Ceins, a sept
probably native to Co.Waterford, or of the O'Cahans, a branch of the Ulster
family of O'Cahan, senior cadets of the O'Neill dynasty, which probably was"
settled" there by the English (i.e. transported) in the early 16th Century.

Beyond that I'm afraid I can't help on this individual family.
