CUNNINGHAM James; IRL; 1890
I am researching into my family tree and would appreciate any help in
tracing my Great Grandfather, James Cunningham or his parents etc... I
know that James Cunningham married an Annie O'Neill, I believe this
marriage took place at Gretna Green, Scotland sometime close to 1910.
James Cunningham is believed to have been one of seven children, I know
nothing of Annie O'Neill at this time. James and Annie Cunningham had
eleven known children, possibly this number may be close to sixteen. It is
known that in 1919, both James and Annie Cunningham were living in a place
known as Lisderry, Nr Grannard, Edgesworthtown, County Longford, Ireland,
where in November 1919, one of the possible sixteen children, Annie Eve
Cunningham was born. Annie Eve Cunningham, Daughter of James and Annie
Cunningham was leter traced to 9 Peters place Dublin, Ireland living with
her Mother and Father when she married a Thomas Cristopher O'Brien. They in
turn had 4 children before moving to the Burnt Oak area of London where the
fifth child was born.
Of the children of James and Annie Cunningham, I know the names of some of
the Children: Bride, Maraide, Kathleen, Mary, Noel.
Any help would be greatfully received. Colin Cansell
