Hello Bron,
I have some information in answer to your inquiry.
Yes it is BISHOPSTONE.
A parish near the southern coast line of East Sussex.
It is between the towns of Newhaven and Seaford.
The original registers for Bishopstone cover 1561 - 1980.
Local marriages are from 1561 - 1835.
But there are no records on IGI's.
My reference is,
' Phillimore's Index Atlas to Parishes in England '

Hope this is of some help.
Kindest regards, Graham in Brisbane Qld.

I wonder does anyone have access to a list of Sussex parishes in 1815?
I am following the story of George Parker who married Elizabeth Chandler
in Hamsey that year. His Parish is listed as either Bishopstone or
Bishopslope
(hard to read). Is Either of these familiar to anyone, and do you have any
more information?

Thanks
