Hi Everyone,

I thought I had better give you the coorect title to one of the books I
listed in my earlier e-mail.

It's "The Victoria History of the Counties of England Vol IV". Earlier, I
said it was "Histories".

You had better be precise when ordering it from your library. This large
series of books on various counties is usually referred to as the Victoria
County Histories - even the West Sussex Records Office called it by that
name. My library spent much time looking for that title, and I couldn't
understand why such a commonly-mentioned series was not available from any
library. Now I know!
