As a new subscriber, I thought it time I sent a message instead of just
reading them.

My interest in this name comes from an Amelia GORRINGE who migrated to
Australia in 1838 with her husband Isaac MUDDLE. I know her parents were
Edward GORRINGE (1742-1823) and Elizabeth WELLER and they lived in Buxted,
SSX. I have heard rumours that "cousins" of hers came to Australia but as
I do not know names of any siblings of Edward Gorringe, I am at a dead end.
His parents were Edward GORRINGE (1708-1780) and Mary NORMAN (d1786)
(again no details of siblings).

I am also interested in the following surnames:

Berek/Berrick/Berwick Buxted, SSX
Mudle/MuddleBuxted, SSX
Borer/BoorerSurrey, Kent
Hosmer/Osman/OsmarKent
