Dear all
I would like to thank Stephen Clifford Wilson for the words of the song but
I wonder if anyone else was taught some different words to part of the
chorus.
My father (a sussex swede born and breed) taught me the line in the chorus
'you may tell them all that we stand or fall' as ' you may tell them all
that we play football'.
Dad used this song as a lullaby to me and we sang it all his life.
