Hi,I'm new to the list, having started a new line of research in Westbourne,
West Sussex.I have been looking for ancestors in Portsmouth/Alverstoke,
Hampshire for the last ten years.I live in Havant, Hampshire which is in
between Emsworth/ Chichester and Portsmouth.
My new name of interest in the Westbourne area, is
NASH.Portsmouth/Alverstoke names are: HEWITT, BEAKES, HARDING, GREGORY,
WEBB, COOK, NAPPER, ALSFORD/ ALLFORD, FREEMAN, DOWNTON, WOODS,ELLIOTT and
MARTIN.
A lot of the above families were bible christians in the 1800's.
