VT stands for Virginia Tech. Why in the world would you choose to try to pick that nit?

Those kids had accomplished a great deal worth honoring. For one thing, all of them were attending college, preparing to become tomorrow's leaders. They didn't have to be there in class that day. They could have been home playing video games. They could have screwed around in high school and never gotten admitted into Virginia Tech in the first place.

Virginia Tech is a highly regarded university, not just anyone can get in. I'm sure all those kids were very intelligent, hard workers. If they weren't they wouldn't have been there. How about we honor these students for the excellent example they were to the rest of us? How about we morne the loss of so much potential for mankind?
