RootsWeb: SUVCW-L Re: [SUVCW] Flag Half staff for the VT shootings

For what it's worth....I do not fly my flag, when able to fly it, at half 

mast under anyone's orders. That is an individual right. There have been 

times I have flown the flag at half mast, but if I flew it at half mast 

everytime the president, governor, mayor, etc. commanded, I would never fly 

it at full mast.

I do not think that every sad or terrible situation deserves a half mast 

flown flag. Especially not terrorist or psycho events such as the VA Tech 

murders.

Probably not what either of you want to hear. Unfortunately, I rarely wear 

my SUVCW badges for the same reason.
