That last line is interesting about the cell phone. It would be confiscated
at my daughter's school as they have a no cell phone policy. Is that
unconstitutional too?
Honestly, this is why schools ar ein the mess they are in. Every tiome a kid
gets in trouble, the punishment is somehow deemed unconstitutional.
As someone who works with lawyers all day I believe that the schoold can
have the al stand during the pledge policy. Frankly, if you don;t want to
recite it, I think you have that right. Your peers also have the right to
take note of your attitude and act accordingly.
When these kids get into the working world and they are handed the employee
handbook they just igniore the rules. This is why a lot of the college grads
my company hires don't make it past the 6 month probabtion period.
