My Great Grandfather Albert DeValangin Patrick lived in Baltimore, Maryland in the late 1800's. I am trying to find his connection with Valangin Switzerland (I assume he was born there). Is Patrick a common name in Switzerland, or was it 'Americanized' by US Immigration. Any help would be most appreciated.
