Dear Karen,

Ernstweilerhof is not a community - just a single farm: "Hof" is the German
word for farm.

Fortunately for you, Schrag is not a very commen name: only 3 places of
citizenship are mentioned (prior to 1800) in "Familiennamenbuch"
http://swiss.genealogy.net/famnam-m.htm
and you already have received this info from the "Swiss Surname Directory"
http://swiss.genealogy.net/surnam-m.htm
As a first step I would recommend to contact these three communities (city
administration) and ask whether an Ernstweilerhof is known to them (unless,
of course, you have some further clue about the canton - as the three
communities with Schrag are situated in three different cantons).

Good luck and best regards - Wolf
