Dear Marjorie,
the "180" on your Swiss stamp stands for
Fr. 1.80 (Swiss Frank or SFr.- to differentiate from FF. or French
franc).
"Helvetia" is the ancient name of the Swiss Confederation or
Switzerland.
At this point SFr. 1.80 (ca. $ 1.20) is the going postage rate for a
normal letter (2 pages) from Switzerland.
