Dear Jennie,
Where my father AESCHBACH's people come from, Leutwil/AG, we have tons
of Gautschi intermarried with Aeschbach.
Are you familiar with the Historischer Verein Wynental

Dr. Peter Steiner, president, of Reinach [with son Daniel and collegue
Rolf Bolliger] of HVW have personally researched, transcribed and
created 2 excellent CD-roms with genealogical data for marriages,
christenings, confirmation & deaths in Leutwil, Duerrenaesch,
Boniswil-Oberdorf 1573-1820, and in Gontenschwil, Zetzwil 1558-1816.
These CDs also contain photos of the towns and other helpful
information.
Now I know Reinach is not among these towns published [as you surely
know, Reinach doesn't even have their records microfilmed by LDS], but
nevertheless Gautschi is one of the most common names in those towns
and villages on the CDs, besides Leutwyler, Bertschi, Bolliger,
Steiner, Aeschbach, Gloor, Hunziker, Haefeli, etc.
I will check your Gautschi's against my records.
