WOW!, what a response.
I certainly did not intend to come off as upset or rude....rather, it was
meant to be humorous.

I will certainly follow all the leads everyone suggested and probably will
contact a professional.
I have the ships manifest of SS Chicago, the ship that my grandparents came
over on.

They left Bordeaux, France on May 1, 1917 and arrived in NY on May 13,
probably a Friday...lol.
Grandfather...August age 35, birth place listed as Zofingen
Grandmother...Lina(Weibel) age 29, birth place listed as St. Loup
Child...Jeanne..age 7, birth place Frigourg
Child...August..age 3, birth place Frigourg
Child...Roger...age 2, birth place Frigourg

They then travelled to Montreal, Canada and then on to NewBruswick, Canada.

That is all I have that is concrete....before that....nothing.
