Another one is Follow the River by James Thoms (I think that's the author
-- I'll verify it later if anyone needs it). It is about Mary Draper
Ingalls'. It is really good.
The author is James Alexander Thom. He researched this book by actually
hiking the whole route that she took, so wehn he describes a river
crossing, he's telling the truth.
He's also written a couple wonderful books about George Rogers Clark, for
those interested in him.
