Hello again,
I have some more details regarding my family, the Elliott's of
Taylor's Valley,Va. (located near Damascus,where the Appalachian trail
meets the Virginia Creeper trail).I know from cousins we have relatives
in Taylor's Valley, Damascus Va., Elizabethton Tn. and Crab Cove (per-
haps Crab Orchard) W. Va. Family folklore has us as Scotch-Irish Pres-
byterians coming from either Scotland or N. Ireland. I've also been
told of a Captain James Elliott who fought at Kings Mt. Any info will
be greatly appreciated.Im grateful to the kind folks who have respond-
ed already.
