A really festive event, the upcoming GENEALOGY BOOK FAIR hosted by the
SULLIVAN COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY is sure to be lots of fun! THE EVENT
IS FREE and open to all genealogical and historical societies, and many
societies from EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA are planning to host

home counties. One of the featured vendors will be Treadway Books, owned by
historian Mark Treadway, who has published numerous books on East Tennessee
and Southwest Virginia. Other vendors, including Hunt Multimedia Genealogy,
will be on hand with hundreds of books pertinent to the region, and sale
prices will abound. Coffee and doughnuts will be available in the morning.
Anyone wishing to reserve tables may do so by contacting Shelia Hunt,
as soon as possible. More information is available
at www.huntgenealogy.com/events.htm. The event is free, and the general
public is cordially invited to attend.
Representatives of the Lee County Historical and Genealogical Society will
be on hand with some of their publications. Mark your calendars for
Saturday, May 18th, and we'll look for you there!
