Help!,
I have been searching all over the Scioto Valley for my gggrandfather's
death certificate/place of death. His name was Elmer Elton(sometimes
switched as Elton Elmer) James.
He is burried in Ross County but they have no death record on him. He
was born in 1871 and died in 1927 according to his tombstone. He was
pastor of Owensville United Methodist Church in 1926and 1927 placing him
in Clermont County. They have no record of his death.
I was told he actually was living in Wilmington and driving to the
church. Clinton County has no record of his death. Can anyone help me?
He served various churches throughout the Scioto Valley and not all were
Methodist.
He was married to Susie O'Briant in Ross Co. in 1891. Was a pastor
there.
His father was William M. James b: Dec 31, 1837 and died June 29,
1897. I can't find his place of death either. I could not find it in
Clinton co. where his widow remained nor in Ross Co. where he is
burried.
