Grandmother mentions a Dr Harry Beard of South Point in several letters. I gather he was "courting" Ruth Elizabeth Neal whom he met at Rio Grande College in the early 1920's. In this letter dated Oct 18 1924, Ruth and my grandmother travelled to Pittsburgh PA to meet Dr Beard who was studying or living in Morgantown WV.
